Is there anything you can’t do with Lion Brand’s Jeans yarn? I have so many ideas! Its really one of my favorites because I absolutely love the trendy color palette. All the Jeans yarns colors pair well together while also standing alone beautifully. This rusty golden color is probably one of my favorites of the fall colors. Grab some of this versatile yarn here.
I’m loving the over-sized cardigans and sweaters that are trendy this fall/winter. Who doesn’t want to feel like they are lounging around in their bathrobe while also looking like a fashion goddess? Besides the comfort factor, oversized sweaters go with everything! Jeans, leggings, dressed up, dressed down, endless possibilities.
And if that’s not enough to convince to you make this extra long cardi. I confess, it’s SO simple. This is not a 10 page pattern ladies! This is one of those easy projects that you can work on while mindlessly watching your latest Netflix obsession. Let’s do this.

Notes
Ch 2 at beg of row does not count as a st unless otherwise noted.
Cardigan is worked in 5 separate pieces (back, 2 identical front panels and 2 sleeves) then seamed together using mattress stitch. The ribbed edges are built in to the design and are created by simply working back loop only single crochet stitches at the row ends.
Sizes are based on average bust size. When choosing which size to make, compare your bust size with finished measurements then decide how much
ease you are most comfortable with. This is an over-sized cardigan which is designed to have at least 6 inches positive ease. Model is 5’ 3” tall with a 34” bust and she is wearing the size XS/S in the photos.
